Le Ruone is a guest house with swimming pool in Calcatoggio in southern Corsica, by the sea, near the beaches and only 17 km north of Ajaccio, nestled in the Cinarca valley.

For 17 years now, I have been pleased to welcome you to the calm of five spacious and comfortable guest rooms in a relaxing and contemporary setting with a view of the sea.

In a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, my wish is that you feel "at home" during your stay, whether as a couple, with friends or family.

You will enjoy the pretty 11-metre long swimming pool, the superb view of the sea and the maquis, the vast 6,000m² garden, planted with trees and punctuated by Mediterranean plants, as well as the proximity of the beaches just 3 minutes away by car. .

During your stay, many activities are available to you near the guest house:beach, hikes, water sports, boat or paddle rental, discovery of Corsican villages, visit to wineries in the Ajaccio appellation, but also for idleness, relaxation and contemplation.

But the Ruone can also be a stopover on the west coast of the island of beauty during your visit to Corsica for one or a few nights and to allow you to shine in our region. Visit the Calanches de Piana by car or boat, discover Cargèse, the Aîtone Forest, taste a delicious ice cream in Sagone at the end of the day at the famous Geronimi glacier…..

 

The proximity of Ajaccio will allow you to spend a cultural day there with the visit of the Fesh Museum or the Bonaparte House, to discover the old town of Ajaccio, to go shopping or finally to enjoy night activities such as shopping in nights or the casino.

Only a few minutes by car, you will find all the amenities: small shops, post office pharmacy, doctor but also brasserie-type restaurants, beach or Corsican cuisine.

In the morning, breakfasts are served on the terrace facing the sea and will be an opportunity for discussion and sharing for those who wish.

You will have the opportunity to have a drink or snack in the garden facing the sea since the rooms are equipped with fridge and outdoor furniture to enjoy your moments of relaxation in Corsica.

Beach umbrellas and bath towels are at your disposal to enjoy the Corsican beaches and its transparent waters and where swimming is possible from April to October.

A means of transport is essential, our island rich in beauty being poor in public transport. A car park is of course at your disposal, amateur motorcyclists of our Corsican roads will be welcome.

 

The transport time for the airport and the port of Ajaccio is approximately 35 minutes.

Late arrivals are possible but must be specified.
